06 Smoking recipes – ready-made recipes

06.01 Using BORCOOK ready-made recipes

This chapter explains how to use our tried-and-tested recipes. We’ll show what each recipe consists of and how the key features work.

Each recipe consists of:

  1. Description – a summary of the dish, the Cook today button.
  2. Tools – a list of required accessories; some can be purchased directly.
  3. Ingredients – a complete list of products; add them to your shopping list.
  4. Recipe – preparation steps; links to articles (e.g., “How to cure?”).

04.02 Description

Under the recipe header you’ll find a short description of the dish and a key action button:

  • Cook today – imports the recipe to the smoker (automatic program).

04.03 Tools

The Tools section lists the accessories needed to prepare the dish, with short explanations. Some items can be purchased online directly.

04.04 Ingredients

The Ingredients section contains the full list of products.

04.05 Recipe

This section guides you through the steps of preparation. Some steps include tips and links to articles, e.g., How to cure?. You can also set reminders and timers for long tasks.

04.06 “Cook today” – import the recipe to the smoker

After tapping Cook today, a list of accessories needed for the recipe appears before starting the process. Then you’ll see your devices list (if you have more than one). Choose the smoker with Select to import the program.

Select the smoker with Upload recipe to import the program to the chosen device (useful when you own more than one).

04.08 Stopping a running program

If the selected smoker is currently running, a Closing program confirmation appears. The program will be paused but remains visible in the control panel in the background until you finish the process.

04.09 Starting the program

  • Editing option – if you need to adjust the program, edit the relevant step.
  • Start the program – press START to begin.
