Program steps list and + Add step button

Add step / Delete

  • + ADD STEP – adds another step to the program.
  • ✎ Edit – opens the step dialog with parameters.
  • 🗑 Delete – removes the selected step from the list.

05.02 Step dialog – feature description

To activate a parameter, switch the toggle on; to deactivate it, switch the toggle off.

Step dialog – parameters
Required action – a reminder of a physical action by the user, e.g., connect the dryer instead of the smoke generator.
Temperature – turn heating on/off and set the target value (see section 04).
Probe – turn probe control on/off and set the target temperature (see section 04).
You cannot set a probe target higher than the heating temperature.
Smoke generator – enable/disable the generator (see section 04).
Dryer – enable/disable the dryer (see section 04).
The smoke generator and the dryer work alternately.
Time – step duration. If set to infinity, the step will not end or advance to the next one unless a probe target is set (see section 04).

Editing while a program is running

Once a program is started, step editing is unavailable. To change settings:

  1. Stop the whole process with ■ Stop.
  2. Open the step you want to edit (e.g., Step 2 – menu with the icon).
  3. Apply changes and save.

Remember

After saving, the program starts from the beginning. If you changed settings during the process and don’t want to repeat a step:

  1. Remove that step from the list, or
  2. Start the process with ▶ Start.

Indicators and info bars

  • Step colors: finishedactivepending
  • Top bar shows temperatures set for the chamber and probes.
    Top bar – chamber & probe temperatures
  • Bottom bar shows the total step time and enabled/disabled functions.
    Bottom bar – step time & functions
  • If an action is set for the step, a third bar appears with its name.
